Thanks so much to the
Peterborough Astronomical Association
for having Heather-Feather's Face Painting
out to their big Astronomy Day event
There was a huge turn-out as families filed in to the Education Centre for FREE FREEZIES, FREE FACE PAINTING, and FREE DISPLAYS & ACTIVITIES about ASTRONOMY! There were even some telescopes set up outside by volunteers for zoo-goers to take a peek in to see the Mercury transit of the Sun. Super-cool!
We were jam-packed, and everyone had an astronomically good time.
