Face Painting Cancelled For Now...

Heather-Feather is sorry to announce that there will now be no face painting of any type until we get the all-clear from city council.  Plans for events can still be made for the warm months to come with the understanding that flexibility will be practiced as we continue to monitor the current global health & safety situation.  In the meantime, she sends along wishes to the Peterborough kiddos and families that they may find lots of ways to stay active and happy at home.

UPDATE REGARDING FACE PAINTING SERVICES... TEMPORARY NOTICE...

NOTICE:  Due to the quick changes that have been taking place regarding recent concerns for public health & safety, Heather-Feather's Face Painting will only be offering services for (small groups and individuals) BIRTHDAY PARTIES and PRIVATE APPOINTMENTS until we get the all-clear from our city council.  For information on the HIGH STANDARDS OF HYGIENE PRACTICES that we have always held, please see the VIDEO IN THE NEXT POST BELOW.  💜💛💜💛

PUBLIC EVENTS, BUSINESS PROMOTIONS, CHARITY & NON-PROFIT EVENTS can still be booked for months in advance with the understanding that we may still need to be considerate of flexibility as we see how things evolve.  We understand that these types of events require much planning, and this can still be done during this time with the hopes that everyone will be back to a normal standard of life within the weeks to come.  We continue to offer our support as you work to make plans for these types of future events.

Let's stay positive!  We are very fortunate that Peterborough is a low-risk area in regard to recent concerns about health & safety for the public.  Let's be smart and keep it that way while we continue to have fun in our happy Peterborough community.  Here, Heather-Feather offers a 15 minute video on the hygiene standards that have ALWAYS been practiced through Heather-Feather's Face Painting, along with OPTIONS for families and event organizers that would like them.

Heather-Feather's Face Painting continues to put smiles on faces during this year's extended March Break and all year 'round.

A Note From Heather-Feather:  In addition, I'd meant to mention that paints are never used on eyes or mouths.  While there are many wonderful videos out there with designs that go on eyes and mouths, many make-up / face paint companies list right on their products that they do not recommend this practice, and this is mentioned on governmental websites as well.  Protection of our community's children and children-at-heart is utmost in our minds and actions, and there is an endless list of designs that stick to other areas of the face and body, so kiddos can still have lots of fun while staying safe!

Face Painting for St. Patrick's Sunday...

The Following Event Has Been CANCELLED

St. PATRICK'S SUNDAY 5K RUN & WALK --- Unfortunately, as our city makes efforts to keep us all safe during this time of HEALTH & SAFETY CONCERNS, this special fundraiser, along with the face painting, has been cancelled for this Sunday, March 15th. While local businesses maintain HYGIENIC PRACTICES, including the same year-round high standards at HEATHER-FEATHER'S FACE PAINTING, in some cases where large gatherings were intended, it is better to be safe than sorry. We are lucky ducks to live in a community as supportive and fun as Peterborough, and we can look forward to many good times ahead. For now, stay safe and healthy, and find some alternative ways to have fun! THANK YOU to Dave at Runner's Life (Charlotte St.) for organizing these regular fundraising events, and we look forward to working with you again in the future.

is super happy to be providing the face painting again this year for the annual St. Patrick's Day 5K Run & Walk.

Each year a special charity is selected to receive support from the funds raised during this much anticipated and much fun event.  This year's charity is PTBO STRONG... a local response to the opioid crisis in Peterborough, ON.  PTBO Strong aims to raise critical funds and awareness for treatment around opioid addictions.
