out to their big Astronomy Day event

up at Riverview Park & Zoo this past Saturday!

There was a huge turn-out as families filed in to the Education Centre for FREE FREEZIES, FREE FACE PAINTING, and FREE DISPLAYS & ACTIVITIES about ASTRONOMY!  There were even some telescopes set up outside by volunteers for zoo-goers to take a peek in to see the Mercury transit of the Sun.  Super-cool!

We were jam-packed, and everyone had an astronomically good time.

Free Face Painting @ The Peterborough Zoo for Astronomy Day!

Heather-Feather will be providing free face painting at this wonderfully fun and educational event up at the zoo tomorrow (Saturday 11th) from 12 noon - 2 pm. The Astronomy Day displays and activities will be taking place at the Education Centre next to the splash pad.
