Come on down for a magical sparkly morning of food, entertainment and, of course, a chance to see the tree-lit spectacle! Face painting included with admission tickets.

ScreamWorks 2009 went off without a hitch. The day was cold, windy and rainy (perfect weather for that oh-so creepy Hallowe'en feeling) & spirits were high (pun intended). The kids enjoyed trick-or-treating at the farmers market, followed by face painting by Heather's Face Painting Service, before heading in to the the main venue in the Morrow Building. See below for some of the fun...
Thanks so much to Tracy Cosburn of Kyoto Coffee for not only sponsoring space in her tent for the face painting at Screamworks, but also for keeping Heather supplied with very excellent decaf! Tracy's an ace with the make-up herself. What a beautiful Good Witch!

Ghouls seemed to be the order of the day. This spooky skeleton moved around on its own. YIKES!

Sallow cheeks and ghastly red eyes leave this young devil ready for some terrorizing. Somehow she still manages to look pretty!?!

Moms & daughters enjoy getting ready for a fun night together. Notice the cup of KYOTO COFFEE in Mom's hand!

Heather always loves to get in on the act, too! A devil and a deranged bunny. Oh no, what kind of trouble are they going to be getting into!?!

This little vampire is adorable and ready to lure you in for a feeding! Her coloured hairspray adds that much more to her costume.

Fun For Everyone At This Year's Labour Day Picnic...

Thanks so much to Margot & everyone with the Peterborough Labour Council for putting on another great barbeque picnic at Nichol's Oval on Labour Day 2009! Food, music, prizes, give-aways and, of course, Heather's Face Painting Service! All for free to the community! The weather was great and we all had so much fun.

Heather will be at Peterborough's Del Crary Park for the first hour of REC-SPO! this Saturday, June 6, 2009(full event, 12 - 3 pm). The city of Ptbo's Parks & Recreation division is hosting a free day of bouncy castles, recreation organizational information, and M&M meats is sponsoring the free BBQ! Heather's Face Painting Service, while not providing face painting this day, will be handing out pamphlets for you to take home, listing service & fees guide. June is a great month to celebrate parks & recreation and anytime is a good time for face painting and fun.
