Happy Holidays!
We had a blast putting smiles on faces this whole holiday season. So many kiddos... so many good times. Thank you to 300 Robinson Place / The Government of Ontario, St. Anne's Knights of Columbus, and all the families in our happy Peterborough community for inviting us to join them in their celebrations.
Mash-ups are all the rage with the kiddos in the world of face painting. These little cuties loved the Candy Cane / Holly / Reindeer design!
Some of the kiddos love to make Heather-Feather smile and laugh. This kiddo was no exception. He also enjoyed his request for Rainbow Candy Canes and glitter!
Special requests are often made, and Heather-Feather's Face Painting aims to please. A Christmas Kitty in reds, greens, and whites helped this little one feel extra-extra cute, and the Christmas Tree with Baubles design had belonged to face painter Shawna / Sparks who was kind enough to allow Heather-Feather to borrow it upon request! Happy kiddos!
Families and friends are very important, and everyone gets to have fun together when we're face painting. These two best buds were having a play date together and wanted matching Elf designs. This little sweetie's dad made sure I knew that she loves Elsa from Frozen and helped her get a pretty Frozen Elsa Crown. (She was actually pretty happy and was just looking down at the mirror when the picture was taken! lol!)
The line up at the 300 Robinson Place event was a long one, but everyone was so patient and happy to be celebrating the season and getting their face painting done. Thanks so much to all the Kiddos for being so well behaved.
Another special request --- a Grey Wolf wearing Strings of Christmas Lights! She loved the final look! Many of the families at the Ministry of Natural Resources (at 300 Robinson Place) are very environmentally minded and were specific about their animal designs. Heather-Feather's Face Painting aims to please and received check-marks from the kiddos! *grin*
Children love to soak up the attention they receive from grown-ups when they are coming to get their faces painted! It's all for them and they deserve to smile and be happy! Santa and Mrs. Claus agree! It's a special privilege to bring happiness to children!
Pretty colours and designs are often requested. This little one was happy to get her Menorah of Rainbow Candles and her Frosty Brows! This older girl picked her favourite flower for Christmas... the Poinsettia!
Some combinations may seem unusual to the grown-ups, but the kiddos know what's cool! Wuppie Monsters are popular and, of course, sometimes wear Santa Hats!

Heather-Feather likes to do her own design on herself at home before heading out to work with the kiddos. Here she did her own mash-up... a Candy Cane Butterfly in the Snow! All sparkly and wispy!
