We do CRAZY HAIR!!! -- the latest fad in face painting! (scroll down to older posts to see some examples of crazy hair) We also do coloured hairspray, temporary tattoos, skin gems, glitter & stickers! (see column at right for services and fees)

We are especially happy to support our local schools by adjusting our services and fees according to budget and event requirements. Feel free to speak to us about your needs.

Heather's Face Painting Service had a blast with parade-goers this Canada Day on George St., downtown!

Almost everyone got maple leafs or Canadian flags but Heather, herself, sported crazy hair, a moose and a red & white heart.

Heather & associates wish to extend very happy smiles to fellow Canadians and welcome tourists from visiting countries!

out to participate in their annual Putt & Play event. We had lots of fun and Tanya & Volunteers really deserve a pat on the back for putting on a great event!

Below are some snapshots showing just some of the fun we had.

Painting can be done on more than just faces... many kids choose to have some "body art" done, so that they can see it too! This little boy had his leg done up with a fuzzy kitty face.

Here, Tanya makes up a batch of yummy blue candy floss, while another volunteer helps out. (Notice that grown-ups like to get in on the face painting as well... Heather's got lots of different styles of images to appeal to all kinds of different interests.)

Heather always comes to these events already decorated, being that she's still a kid herself and can't resist some self-face painting. She also often brings along the digital camera and kids just love having even more fun taking some of the pictures! Snap shots can later be retreived by kids and families by coming to this site and copying & pasting to their own computers.


This little girl really seemed happy to be sitting down in the chair to have her face painting done.

Recreation Expo

organized by the city of Peterborough.

Weather permitting, Heather will be stationed at one of the tables in Del Crary Park and will be handing out free stickers as well as information about including face painting at your event!

Location: Del Crary Park
Following the success of the 2009 event, the City of Peterborough Recreation Division will be hosting the 2nd annual RECREATION EXPO at Del Crary Park. The Recreation Expo is a FREE community event to kick off the celebration of “June is Recreation and Parks Month” and to showcase the diverse recreational opportunities Peterborough has to offer. This event features a BBQ, face painting, displays from recreational organizations, demonstrations, interactive activities and FUN for the whole family. The Peterborough L.E.T.S. Exchange Market...

Heather's Face Painting Service will be at the next Peterborough L.E.T.S. Exchange Market!

March 13th at 1 to 4:30 pm in The Peterborough Public Library on Alymer St. near Simcoe, downstairs auditorium. Admission is free. Free children's activity table, too!

Heather will have her supplies ready to go for any children & children-at-heart wanting a bit of fun! Face painting -- skin gems -- temporary tattoos -- coloured hairspray -- crazy hair -- you name it! (See bar at right of your computer screen, under "Parks & Markets" for the day's fees guide.) Also, don't forget to pick up a brochure to keep on hand as the warmer months are on their way and there will be plenty of opportunites to keep the little ones entertained. ;)

The market is open to the public and there will be many items of interest from our many vendors, so come on out and take a look around while visiting our terrific local library. The weather is expected to be warm and sunny and promises to make for a great family day!
