Heather Home of Heather's Face Painting Service would like to congratulate everyone involved with the organization of 2008's Festival of Trees in Peterborough, particularly the children's area.
Heather had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer to do the face painting at the Children's Fantasy Breakfast and was delighted to see so many happy and amazed faces as the kids walked about to view all the magical trees lit up. It was a special day and a GOLD STAR goes out to those who dedicate so much time and effort to put it all together for such a good cause. Proceeds go to benefit Peterborough's health care community. Thanks!

Thank You Screamworks!
Heather's Face Painting Service would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Sean Gillespie, and all those involved in this year's Screamworks event, held here in Peterborough at Morrow Park, the weekend before Hallowe'en.

Heather's Face Painting Service is happy to announce that we will be participating in tonight's special event at Chapters Book Store, here in Peterborough on Lansdowne St. Stephanie Meyers is releasing her next book in the "Twilight" series, a teen vampire romance series. The new book is titled "Breaking Dawn" and promises to be equally as exciting. Watch for the up-coming movie, too, and check out the website at www.stephaniemeyer.com . Fun at the Lakefield Fair...
Special thanks go out to the Lakefield Agricultural Society for having Heather's Face Painting Service out to provide the face painting during this year's Lakefield Fair, on the Friday, Saturday, & Sunday !!! Heather had the honor of working with Zach Wells, who provided the balloon animals, and some entertainment with unicycling and juggling. All was sponsored by the Lakefield Agricultural Society and there were many children and "kids-at-heart" who enjoyed the fantastic family fun.

Heather Home, and new face painting assistant, Beth, will be doing some fun stuff at the L.E.T.S. Exchange Market, which is open to the public (you don't have to be a member to shop or browse at the market) and there's free admission and often free ice cream to take home, too (from the cafe).

Heather's Face Painting Service will be at the Fireworks celebration at Del Crary Park this Saturday evening, May 17 (Victoria Day weekend). Sponsored by the Peterborough Rotary Club. 5 pm - 9 pm. Rain Date on Sunday.

The Peterborough Parks division has asked me to do face painting at Del Crary Park from 4pm - 6pm in honour of Global Youth Week. Face painting will be free to all kids who come out to enjoy the celebration & festivities. Come see what else will be going on at the same time!!
